Good friends and good times. Love y'all.

- Captain Rob

Going Home

Well we made it through San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and into Los Angeles. It was all very nice but it's time to get home.

Oceano

Oceano turned out to be a pretty strange place, but we did find a great Mexican foods store that also functioned as an underground casino.

And we just stumbled upon this great Internet cafe, both of us got a lot of work done here.

I think Captain Rob went a little crazy on the beach, he misses surfing a lot.

We will be in Santa Barbara tonight, yahoo.
After a nap on the beach we decided not to stay in Oceano. Lompoc was about thirty miles south and Joey would get in around seven. We met where the 1 and the 246 crossed, bought some firewood and rode to camp. We had a fire, made macaroni and cheese and slept on the grass. Everyone is well rested today. Welcome to the club Joe.

As an art enthusiast, my eye was drawn towards this mural. Naturally.

Captain Rob took this picture of us and I like how I look. I'm a total wine-o.

Safety

Here is a great example of Captain Rob's ability to really combine safety and fashion.

Robin

I guess Captain Rob got really strong going through Big Sur a couple days ago. Who knew?

Last night we made it to Cambria and camped on the hillside of a friend's grandparent's bed and breakfast called Fog's End. In the morning we made coffee and oatmeal and packed for the ride to slo town.

Hope you all are doing well.

Keep on Cloggin'

Visitor from the North

Lara came to visit us when we were in Big Sur. She brought great pastries from the bakery she works at, our favorite cheeses, beer, wine, and fruit. We were very excited to see her, but it seemed like all she wanted to do was stretch.

A few days ago we rode into Big Sur from Monterey.

Today we rode from Santa Cruz to Monterey. The map took us through fields of strawberries, artichokes, and Brussels sprouts. The workers in the fields were friendly and waved and we waved and rang our bells.

Can't get enough cloggers, thanks Sandro.

Some nice guys in Santa Cruz let us borrow their skateboards and ride on their ramp.

Santa Cruzin'

Life on the road requires lots of java.

We got to Santa Cruz last night and met a friend who took us into Boulder Creek. The house had a pool and two dogs who were very energetic.

Today we were up early. Michael took a nap and I rode to the university. We got coffee and were given free pastries from a barista who felt sympathetic towards us.

We camped on the beach last night south of Half Moon Bay. The nice kids next door gave us a pallet and we had a warm fire.
